DESCRIPTION:Jan 23-25 2026\nwith Devaraj; at Lumos Centre; 450 GEL\nFriday 19.00 – 21.30\nSaturday & Sunday 11.00 – 18.00 \nWhether working on yourself or with clients\, this workshop will show you how to create lasting change with the techniques of body-based therapy. Very often in life\, we cannot change the outside\, we can’t change the world around us. This can create a feeling of being stuck and we can develop negative\, repetitive behaviours. But when we discover how to break through into our inner world\, life can be amazing no matter where we live and what’s going on around us. Learn what you need to do when you feel stuck in life or lacking confidence.  \nThis workshop will mix Group Therapy techniques\, Sharing\, Theory\, Emotional Expression\, Bioenergetics and Breathwork\, all taken from Devaraj’s 25 years in this scene. \nIf you want to create change in your own life\, or if you work with clients and want to integrate body-based techniques into how you create change for them\, then this workshop will be ideal for you.  \nGroup Schedule: \nFriday 19.00 – 21.30:\nI will introduce the workshop and explain how we will be working this weekend. Then you have a chance to introduce yourself and speak about what you would like to get from the weekend. Then we will all do some basic exercises that help us to get into our body\, drawn from Bioenergetics. \nSaturday \n11.00 – 14.00:\nI will give a presentation\, explaining the difference between the physical world and the abstract world\, and showing how we simultaneously inhabit both. You will understand how stuckness occurs in life and how we reinforce holding patterns by the manner in which we think about ourselves and life. You will then do a series of one-to-one sharing exercises with a partner\, interspersed with various physical exercises to move energy. \n15.30 – 18.00\nYou will take part in an intense and exciting “breakthrough” exercise drawn from the world of Group Therapy. I will explain it thoroughly before we begin and you can choose whether you want to do it or prefer to just support. After this\, there will either be a breathwork exercise to round the day off\, or otherwise a chance to work in front of the group with a personal issue if you wish to – always a powerful way to invoke deep change. \nSunday\n11.00 – 14.00\nI will give some more theory\, and answer questions about creating change. Then we will do a Bioenergetics workout and then you will take part in another exciting Group Therapy session that will give you a breakthrough around expressing your needs and experiencing social acceptance.  \n15.30 – 18.00\nAs I work mostly in the moment\, and try to flow with how the group is naturally moving\, I will decide about this session at the time\, according to your needs. But it will likely contain more psychological theory and time for questions\, plus a big breathwork session or more space to work in front of the group on a personal issue\, to get a breakthrough\, guided by me. \nDevaraj teaches in simple English\, speaking slowly and not using technical language.
